Colours, Colours, and more Colours!

In Grade 1 Art we’ve learned about the colour wheel (complimentary colours) as well as making secondary colours by using only primary colours.

Upper Elementary has learned about the different types of lines used in pencil drawings. We’ve also been learning about ‘warm’ and ‘cool’ colours through angles and shape. We created either circles or diamonds on the whole page, and traced our hand right over top of it. We then used warm colours for our hand and cool colours for the background.
