Moving Right Along..

The Kindergartners are becoming very comfortable with using their mouse, and keyboard. We’ve been typing at the beginning of each class so that they can become master typers! We’ve also learned about the Internet, bookmarks, and how to access them.

In Grade 1 we’ve continued with Microsoft word, and they can use the many features to create bold, italic, underlined, and different colours of words.

The grade 2’s  are starting to use Microsoft Publisher. They have created posters, for which they have learned how to name their document so that it’s easily found later.

We have all been using www.jigssawplanet.com to help with mouse control, and it’s actually quite challenging!
