Let’s Celebrate the Holidays in Casa!
Wow– how quickly the time has passed! December is here and we are ready for some lovely learning and holiday celebration!
Our theme this month is “Wonderful World” and we will be focusing on fundamental human needs as well as helping those whose needs are not being met. Children will identify material and spiritual needs, how humans have adapted to meet these various needs over time and how they can make a difference in the life of others!
Our continent focus is Antarctica, which means we will be practicing locating the continent on the globe, exploring its geography and climate and identifying different creatures that inhabit this remote and harsh environment. Remember to bring any theme or continent related books or objects for Show-And-Tell if you have them!
As the holidays near, our spirit is growing with cheer! We are excited for our upcoming Holiday Concert at Mary Miller Hall, our end of school Pajama party before Winter Break, and a month full of happiness, arts and crafts, treats and holiday merriment!
Season’s Greetings!
