Grade 8 French

Bonjour!

Yesterday we completed our final unit, ‘Une visite en France’, in which we revised talking about what’s available in a town, learned how to ask for and give directions, and had fun exploring Paris on an interactive web-site, discovering the various tourist attractions. The students learned some interesting facts about these places!

We also learned the names for souvenirs that we bought, and completed diary entries and a letter, in which we described our last vacation. Before completing the letter which consolidates all of the language covered in this final unit,  we looked at ways to improve our writing.  We ended the unit with the final episode of our soap opera.

Next week, we begin our revision for the final end of year exams.
