Casa September blog

What a quick September that was in Casa! We welcomed new faces and familiar ones, and have been settling back into our classroom environment and routines.

This month our theme was “Me and My Family”, and we had great fun making our Family Trees. Thank you all for helping out with our project by supplying the names of family members!

We learned that we have over 16 cultural backgrounds here in Casa. We coloured in flags to represent each culture and are learning to locate them on the globe. We truly are an “international” group, and have family members from all corners of the globe!

We practised our “Virtue of the Week” this month and discussed what friendship and courtesy is all about. The Casa kids have been super at putting these into practise, and we will continue to pick new virtues for each week.
