October News, November “To Do’s”

Our LED classroom is becoming more of a community every day.  The students have further settled into the routines and are able to work more independently.  We are made proud every day as we witness yet another example of students helping each other with work, accidents, finding materials, etc.  It is something to see and we invite our parents to come and watch!

Following the origins of the universe and the formation of our earth, the students explored many related concepts:  atoms, matter, mixtures, earth forces, and more.  The Grade 3 students proved their leadership capabilities by leading experiments.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We have also moved on to more math, language, and writing objectives.  It has been an action-packed month and the students were proud to celebrate their achievements on Games Day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Of course, Halloween was an amazing day where the students freely chose themed worksheets in many subject areas and enjoyed using symmetry to cut out Halloween decorations.

November promises to be a month of further growth as the students continue to become more independent and comfortable with the use of the new materials they’ve been shown.  For further information on our goals for November, please select the following link:
