Grade 7 and 8 French

Bonjour!

Our Grade 7 students have recently been learning how to give opinions about the school subjects they like and don’t like. We also looked at the structure of French sentences. This week, we learned how to tell the time in French, using the 12- hour clock, and we discussed the times that we have different subjects. We finished the year by understanding a French timetable, and the students had some fun practising some French handwriting.

The Grade 8 students revised telling the time and learned the 24-hour clock. We then practised saying what time a film is on at the cinema. To continue our theme of ‘Going Out’, the students learned how to ask someone if they’d like to do something, and arranged a time and a place to meet. They also practised making a telephone call in French.
