March in Casa…

It was a short March in Casa this year as everyone enjoyed a fun Mid-Term Break! The kids all came back refreshed and ready to dive into the month’s theme!

We continued on our theme from last month, “Space: Our Solar System….And Beyond!”.  The students all love this theme so much, 2 months almost didn’t seem long enough!

We constructed and labeled the Solar System, which we proudly displayed around the classroom. We discussed why Pluto is no longer a planet, watched a video of a Lunar landing, and explored the world of asteroids, meteors and comets!

Next month. we will be celebrating our “Precious Planet” and the students are already looking forward to a Field Trip to the DART Recycling Plant!
