Destination: Africa!
We ramp up our studies of Africa in February, including cultures, biomes, national symbols and much more. When we wrap up Africa, we look forward to inviting all parents to join us for a “potluck” African luncheon. Our goal is to host this wonderful event in March and we will send details as the date nears. The students will have booklets on their African studies ready to share and traditional African foods will be sampled, courtesy of volunteer parent chefs. The students treasure this time together and we hope all of our parents will be able to attend.
The Grade 3 students will follow the annual tradition of orchestrating, managing, and performing for the entire student body during the February 3rd Assembly. They have spent hours rehearsing and preparing for what is sure to be an enjoyable show. They chose the virtue of kindness as their theme this year. We look forward to sharing the photos with you in our next blog!
