Moving on and wrapping up . . .

May has been an eventful month!  The students relished their studies of Europe and showed great teamwork, dividing responsibilities for creating their group biome posters.  We are certain the parents appreciated the students’ completed art, work books, and collaborative works that were on display during our luncheon.

The European Foods Luncheon was another great success.  The students really loved having parents join them to share a wonderful meal and view all of their work.  Thank you very much, parents, for all you did to support the meal.  Everything was tasty and it was an amazing time.

Finally, we had the fundraising art gala.  Thanks again, Ms. Martinne, for your dedication and hard work bringing to fruition the world of Disney on a chair.  The children loved working with you and were so excited to be a part of this special piece!

In June, our last field trip will happen.  News of the plans will be sent soon!  We will also be studying the human body in detail, with a special focus on health and hygiene.  Make room at home for life-sized diagrams complete with the major body systems of your child.  This is always a great experience and learning opportunity for the kids.
