LEU’s Sweet Treats to Save the Sharks

Earlier this year, the LEU class decided to take on the challenge of raising $1000 for Shark Conservation Cayman. The money will be used to purchase a GPS tag for a shark. The organization is trying to tag more sharks off our coast, in order to learn about where they have their babies, feed, and swim.

Last week, the students hosted a bake sale to kick off their fundraising efforts. They worked very hard, busily baking and preparing their tasty treats, and all of their efforts resulted in an abundantly sweet spread!

LEU would like to thank the school community for their generous support and their donations. Thanks to all of your help, $335.45 was raised during the bake sale’s first day!

Stay tuned for more exciting fundraisers!
