Creative Flow in ICT

These last few months have flown by! Creativity has been in full flow in both Lower and Upper Elementary ICT classes. The fanciful, imaginative minds of the Lower Elementary children have been focused on learning all about digital art, from drawing and creating using a variety of digital tools, to editing and sharing images.

Visual impact was also a focus for the Upper Elementary students, who fused together research, presentation and technical skills as they created compelling, stunning PowerPoint slideshows and presented them to the class. While many students were initially nervous, the presentations all went very well and the students displayed increasing confidence as they continued with their slideshows.

We have started to transition into our next set of projects, which involve taking the coding we have learned and building simple animations and games! We can’t wait to see what we can come up with this time!
