Parents’ Guild Community Beach Clean-Up

On April 24th, MBTS children, parents and staff members got together to clean up the coastline at the Spotts Dock, as part of the MBTS Parents’ Guild Beach Clean-Up. Families and friends got up bright and early and spent a portion of their Sunday morning picking up pieces of garbage and debris dotted all along the shoreline.

While it’s heartening to note that this year’s beach clean-up resulted in fewer bags full of garbage, caring for the environment and keeping our island clean is a lifelong task. It was so wonderful to have adults and children alike sharing in the stewardship of our planet.

Many thanks to everyone who volunteered, and to the MBTS Parents’ Guild for spearheading this special community endeavour each year.
