There is a Fly in My Soup!
March has been a month of bonding and team-building exercises in Drama. This has included building a tower out of spaghetti and marshmallows and creating ‘One Being’ out of our bodies.

Team building games and activities are a great way to bond and bring the children together. Giving children the opportunity to lead will instill confidence and help them to develop their voices. They develop practical life skills like problem-solving, listening, leadership, and creative thinking.
In addition to our bonding activities, Lower Elementary has also devised their own short play from the fairytale The Elves and the Shoemaker. As it was the month of the Oscars the children also performed their very own scene from a film and thoroughly enjoyed thanking the audience for their Oscar.

Upper Elementary devised short skits out of the line ‘There is a fly in my soup’. They had great fun creating a small scene and performing it for the rest of the class. We also had a small art class in which the children painted a lighthouse. They used acrylic paint to bring out the warm colors of the sunset. Their paintings turned out beautifully!
