Merry & Musical at MBTS

It has been a busy month in Music! The air has been filled with festive tunes and concert preparation, and all years rehearsed diligently for the Christmas concert. From singing and percussion to violin and guitar students have been busy perfecting their parts.

Our students’ preparation was evident on Saturday at the ARC as each group sang and played their hearts out. The joy of the holiday season could be felt in the music and seen on the faces of each of our children. Thank you to all the families who attended, grooved right along to the Christmas tunes, and contributed to our all-school Feliz Navidad. It was a great success!

The concert was the clear main musical event of the month; however, it was not the only performance opportunity for our MBTS musical artists. Students and families have delighted in the festive spirit at morning drop-off as Mr. Laurie and some of the students performed Christmas carols for the school arrivals. It starts everyone’s day out on a good note!

Lastly, a group of students had the opportunity to sing at the Rotary tree-lighting ceremony. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together with our island community.

Wow–what a month! Wishing everyone a very happy holiday season and to keep the music going throughout!
